My name is Irene, and I'll greet you as you arrive at SCHLOSS PLARS. It's my role to look after our guests – possibly including you – ensuring that everything in our boutique hotel pleases both your taste and sight. My foremost goal is to make you feel as comfortable and at ease as if you were in your own home, offering a sanctuary where you can unwind and allowing the tranquil, romantic essence of our unique ambience to embrace you.

My name is Andreas, and I am responsible for our wine estate, cellar, and the wine—and in this sense, also for you as wine lovers, connoisseurs, and enthusiasts. SCHLOSS PLARS is more than just a location; it's where I grew up, a place that has been and continues to be the focal point of my life. Today, this connection is even stronger as the castle embodies my greatest passion—the world of wine.
The vintner
I nurture this passion every day by going out into the vineyards and working with them. Every autumn, I harvest the fruits of my labour and process them. Every year, I cellar the wine and watch this noble drink mature. But I also enjoy the moments when I can guide you through our vineyard and you listen to the stories about my grandfather and father. And when I have the opportunity to share the fascinating history of winemaking with you.
